Paving the way forward? Cape Brick and Pavatile join forces.

Cape Brick, market leader in recycled aggregate and brick manufacturing technology, has purchased a majority share in the well known pre-cast paving solutions manufacturer, Pavatile.

Environmentally Friendly

Cape Brick has pioneered the use of recycled crushed aggregate in concrete product manufacture and was the first brick manufacturer to set up a dedicated crushing and sieving operation for the express purpose of turning construction and demolitions waste into quality aggregate. Cape Brick remains the only brick manufacturer to supply environmentally friendly masonry with a minimum of 70% recycled materials content to the Western Cape market.

Solutions Driven

Pavatile has long been a leader in Solutions-Based Design. Being able to offer both industry professionals (such as engineers, architects and landscaping professionals) and homeowners with free, tailored problem solving CAD designs utilizing application specific products such as integrated pool coping and channel kerbs, has been one of the hallmarks of Pavatile?s approach.

A Natural Partnership

Both companies are long standing and well reputed businesses, owner managed and run. Cape Brick has long been looking to expand its operations and product offering, and Pavatile was a natural choice. Pavatile?s claim of manufacturing the highest quality wet-cast paving products in Southern Africa as well as its reputation for excellent customer service fit perfectly within the Cape Brick ethos of customer satisfaction above all else. Pavatile has consistently managed to perform in a competitive market through the ability to offer a great diversity of application specific products according to customer expectations.

A Synergistic Approach

The synergies involved in the joining of forces will have many benefits to both of the companies and their clients. Not only will the partnership result in streamlined production, increased output and expanded distribution, but it will make it possible for Pavatile to devise integrated paving solutions incorporating both wet-cast and dry-press paving, as well as solutions which go way beyond paving alone, including landscaping and retaining wall systems.
