Cape Brick asked to present at MBA(SA) Conference

The Master Builders Association of South Africa recently held its 2007 Congress at Spier Wine Estate in Stellenboch. The theme for this year’s congress was Eco-Building and as the only manufacturer of truly environmentally friendly bricks in South Africa, Cape Brick was asked to give a presentation on “The use of recycled aggregates in concrete masonry manufacture”.

The congress was well attended and featured thought provoking presentations from several key industry role players, including Shaun Webber, MD of NMC Construction and MEC for Transport and Public Works, Marius Fransman. Obviously our MD, Anthony Gracie, was delighted to be included in such illustrious company.

The Cape Brick presentation was well received and quite a few delegates were surprised at the level of technology and detail involved in the recycling process.
